Schedule periodic backup less than daily

With VEB, is it possible to schedule a periodic backup to run less than once per day? eg. weekly. Testing suggests that the "Back up no more often than every" setting only applies to event-based backups, not periodic ones.

If you choose daily at a certain hour, but combine it with Back up no more often than every (a lot of hours or 6 days ) it should work. Can you verify this?

I think I understand what might have happened. A full backup was done when I installed VEB. An incremental then ran the next day, even though I had "Back up no more often than" set to 7 days. Presumably the full done during the VEB install doesn't count as a scheduled run. That would make sense I guess.

I wasn't actually sure if this setting was meant to apply to periodic job runs, but given that it should I will wait to see what happens tomorrow.

The backup was skipped this morning, which is what I expected. It does indeed appear to obey the "Back up no more often than every x days" option after the fist scheduled run, so I'm happy now.

It would be useful to be able to schedule the backup to only run on selected days of the week. Perhaps this could be considered for a future release?
