Server 2012R2 Deduplication repository

Post by andreas »

Hi,

I would like to know if it is supported to store Endpoint backups from local clients to a remote Veeam & Backup repositories that is stored on a Windows server 2012R2 volume with data dedeuplication enabled?

Are there any drawbacks? Have anyone here some experience (good or bad) from this?

Best regards,
Andreas

Hi Andreas,

No drawback as far as we know other than the normal rules that apply. Keep your files away from the 1 TB limitation and it should be good

Cheers

Mike
