Hey,
so I have a new SQL Cluster which needs some backup, I have a CSV as a DB Storage.
reading this: https://www.veeam.com/kb2463
"Cluster Shared Volumes (CSV) are skipped automatically during the backup."
Now I get that this is not supported like that, but I still need to backup that CSV.
Apart from the question "WHY ISN'T THIS SUPPORTED" I would like to ask how I should back this up now?
The Storage is a DataCore storage and I have a Veeam Proxy attached to that, is there any option to go directly through DataCore to get the data?
Any other options to backup that CSV?
thanks in advance

Re: SQL Cluster Backup
I think this is about creating 'Protection Groups'
Go to the Inventory screen, right click on the Physical & Cloud Infrastructure section and create a new protection group.
Is that the basic process you're already following? If not, then look for some documentation on protection groups. That's how you backup clusters with Veeam.

Re: SQL Cluster Backup
that's not what I was looking for, but I already found it.
I do not save the data from the CSV but with the SQL Server, the databases all are in the backup, so this can be closed or deleted.
Stupid from me to ask before testing
