VAW not honoring VPN blocking when started from CMD

Hello,

I have recently discovered that VAW is not honoring VPN blocking / metered connection blocking set in GUI when the task is started from a command line. I use always on VPN to my home where my NAS sits, since it is Always on vpn it gets connected after every login, when I start a job from a GUI, it fails/switches to cache because of VPN blocking, however when I start the task from a command line (or a task scheduler), the agent tries to backup the machine over VPN / metered connection.
