Hi,
I have Exchange 2016 physical servers DAG and perform a backup with Veeam agent.
Could you help me and tell me how Veeam works with Exchange database whitespace?
I have more than 10 databases and a lot of white spaces.
Thank you.

Re: Veeam Agent backup Exchange server 2016
Hello Vlajko,
Veeam Agent for Windows process Exchange databases as it without any content modification, if you need to get rid of white space prior the backup, I'd recommend you to use pre-job scripts to trigger the corresponding procedure at Exchange side. Additionally, backup is performed with compression enabled by default and I am under impression that this should help to avoid additional storage consumption. Cheers!
