Veeam Agent BSOD

Post by jmm »

Hi,
During lasts months : everything was ok and the agent was doing is backup job with ease.
Since two days I experience that strange BsOD :
Each time Veeam Agent start a backup session on my DELL PowerEdge R530 Microsoft Server 2012 R2
It stops and create a Blue Screen of Death :

Code: Select all

0x000000d1 (0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000002, 0x0000000000000001, 0xfffff80193c97eae)
The dump of the BsOD give that informations :

Code: Select all

FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: AV_tcpip!TcpDeliverLoopbackDataToClient

BUCKET_ID: AV_tcpip!TcpDeliverLoopbackDataToClient

PRIMARY_PROBLEM_CLASS: AV_tcpip!TcpDeliverLoopbackDataToClient
I don't think that it is caused by Veeam, but this is when Veeam Agent start the backup that this BsOD happen.

If someone had experienced the same problem, I will appreciate some feedbacks.

I found a hotfix related, but not sure this is adequate :

Finally we found the root cause of this "BSOD" :
It was caused by a "TDI filter" from an old version of this application : NetWorx (no compatible with the system windows 2012 R2) As you say, veeam was not involved.
