Hi,
Can someone please explain to me how this works? Is this separate program which I install on physical machine or it is extended version of Endpoint backup?

Re: Veeam Agent for Windows
Hi,
Veeam Agent for Windows is the new name for Veeam Endpoint Backup. So VAW 2.0 is actually the follow-up of VEB 1.5. It needs to be installed indeed on a physical machine and now there are three versions. The free one (encryption of your backups is a new feature in that one, and some others), Workstation (paid version that comes with the possibility (among others) to backup directly to a cloud connect provider, a cache, and support) and the server version (paid again, that comes with the workstation features and also additional application-aware support (the same as we have today in VBR))
Cheers
Mike
