After upgrading VBR to version 10 and the Agents to version 4 some of them started to show the message
I found this thread, which seems related and tried some fixes mentioned there:Error: Not enough licenses on backup server
- I ran .\Veeam.Backup.Manager.exe -removelicense vaw on the VBR server
- I uninstalled the Veeam Agent
- I removed Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Veeam\Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows\ManagedMode from the registry with the regnulltool
- I removed everything related to Veeam from C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile + subfolder: AppData\Local\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server Local DB\Instances
- I reinstalled the Veeam Agent
We were always using the Agents in free mode, they never were licenced. The aforementioned thread notes that the licences should be removed from VBR and/or enterprise manager. VBR claims that the licences are managed by the enterprise manager, but I can't find any place to remove them there.
How can I remove these licences so the Agents work again?
