veeam agent managed session has failed unexpectedly
Hello,
we´ve got a problem with the backup of some servers (server 2016).
The server are physical installed veeam proxy servers (the proxies with attached storage), not domain joined. since now the veeam agent backup was in "standalone" mode.
In the update process of veeam to 9.5 4b, I created a protection group, added the two server, assigned a agent backup job (system only), so they are now managed.
The backup job failes with error: veeam agent managed session xxxyyy has failed unexpectedly.
When the job starts, I´ll find in the backup repository a file with approx 21 MB and after a while the job ends with the above error.
So whats wrong, what could I do?

the support pointed me to the problem:
our veeam backup server wasn´t listening on port 10005.
After a reboot of the backup server the problem was solved.
I had changed the certificate for the agent backups on the backup server and it seems the port wasn´t open afterwards.

I had this same issue with a windows agent backup and a restart of the Veeam backup server fixed the failed backup job.
