Dear,
I have created a new backup job for test that includes a Windows desktop.
Schedule settings are:
- If computer is powered off at this time: Backup once powered on
- Once backup is taken, computer should Shutdown
I have powered off the Windows desktop and I have waited for the next backup job completion.
But it failed. The Windows desktop was not powered on.
So I have the following questions:
1/ Is this option only available to manage machines on standby status or also for machines completely powered off?
2/ What are the Veeam requirements on the server side and on the desktop side to comply with to make this feature works correctly?
Thanks in advance for your support.

Re: Wake up a Windows workstation
Hi ssandoz

On the workstations, make sure that you put your computer in Standby Mode. If it still not works, check that Wake Up Timers are allowed in the windows power options.
Only for machine on standby modus.1/ Is this option only available to manage machines on standby status or also for machines completely powered off?

On the VBR Server, use Managed by Agent Backup Policies for Workstations.2/ What are the Veeam requirements on the server side and on the desktop side to comply with to make this feature works correctly?
