Win 10 pro issue

Hi, i have latest version of the client installed. Windows 10 pro os, fresh new computer.

I installed new installation of veeam and tried to make scheduled backup. Every time i do so, after saving settings, veeam client does not show any settings saved "Backup settings are not configured" (if i run backup job at the moment of saving settings, the backup is done to the server (only once, scheduled 2nd time failed), and if i try to restore individual files from backup, i get error message:
"Veeam Endpoint Backup. Culture is not supported. Parameter name: culture 3072 (0x0c00) is an invalid culture identifier."

Started the client with admin righs, reinstalled, repair installed, rebooted and made a little rain dance, nothing helps, any suggestions?

(Reporting an issue does not work from the client, Email address is not registered with Veeam, status does not change when i register the email address successfully, even after clicking the confirmation link)

What culture are you using? Is that a custom culture?

1035 is not a custom culture as far as I know it so that means it actually should work...

I assume you still can't log a support call so can you PM me with your email address, and I will get your email to our support group and let them contact you. If I have a bit delay, I apologize, I'm travelling today but I will do my best to get that data to the support team as soon as possible

Hi petteria,

Do you have English culture added to your OS? If not try to add English (US) language pack without any additional modifications, reboot the OS and check again.

Hi,

Yes i had, windows is an English installation, i changed culture (regional) settings to en-us, no change, still same error. I added Finnish language pack and changed back to Finnish fi-FI regional settings, and same error (but in Finnish language).
Rebooted after every change.

Hi Kristof,

Unfortunately adding the English culture did not solve the issue. The solution was to reinstall the OS with English as default and then add the local culture. Hope it helps.
