Backup Linux guest on top OVM.

We are running Oracle Linux on top of Oracle Virtual Machine (OVM).

Assume if we install agent on VM guest , assume it will work and no limitation as at the end it will deal with it as physical machine.


We would like to know if this is OK or there is a limitation? in addition, all machine will be backed up even if we have different volumes from different places.

/u01 (apps) (SAN)
/u02 (data) (SAN)
/Backup (NFS)

Currently the OVM hypervisor is not supported. If the guest however is just a native Linux it should work without any issues as long as you meet the requirements.
