Post by yathus »

Hello,

I tried to install Agent for Linux 6.0.3.1221 from Veeam v12.

Code: Select all

veeamconfig mode setvbrsettings --cfg Percona\ Cluster.xml
Registering on the VBR server. This might take a few minutes...

My server use UEFI but i don't know how to follow this documentation for Ubuntu : https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/agent ... ver=60#mok (and if it's required)

Thanks

Hello gostev,

I wanted to avoid going through this, it's always quite long because you have to provide logs so i came here to simply ask : is it compatible with a Kernel 4.19 or not.

So I'm going to start by running my servers on the official ubuntu 20.04 kernel before contacting support. I doubt they'll support me on an "unofficial" kernel compiled by OVH.

have a nice day

So it was definitely a kernel problem. By simply installing 5.4.0-162-generic, everything works correctly, I've been able to add the server directly to a "Protection Group" and automatic deployment works perfectly.

Previously I had a strange error with this mode (Root Element not found) and in manual mode (Failed to determine kernel version.)
