Hi,

I've got some issue with multiple backup job failed in my linux backup server, almost every day.

Backup Server :
Windows Serveur 2019
8 GB memory
Physical server

Backup Repository Server :
Debian 32 Bits
4 GB memory
Physical server

Code: Select all

Error: Unable to allocate memory for storage metadata bank. Failed to download disk. Reconnectable protocol device was closed. Failed to upload disk. Agent failed to process method {DataTransfer.SyncDisk}.

Multiple things...

Please check and potentially increase the SSH connection count in the sshd config. Potentially we can not open additional connections to interact with the backups.

As well check the Repository task slot setting. With 4GB of memory you can serve roughly only 1-2 task slots (Repository Setting).
If you run out of RAM at backup you will see the same error messages and others randomly.
