Q: How quickly does Veeam add support for newly released OS version?
A: Time to support new OS version depends heavily on whether there are any major or breaking changes on the OS side that require significant changes to our code. In general, our target for new OS version support is 90 days. This is primarily driven by an approximate cadence of release vehicles for new OS version support which are maintenance releases. In addition, for enterprise distributions like RHEL we strive to provide a standalone compatibility patch sooner whenever possible, even before the next maintenance release.
