List Availability Zones in API
Hi,
When requesting the list of Availability Zones in a particular region through the API endpoint /api/v1/cloudInfrastructure/regions/{regionId}/zones in a recently deployed Veeam instance, the reply is that there are no AZs in any of the regions.
It's only after configuring a worker through the UI that the instance scans through AWS regions and indexes the AZs.
Is there an endpoint in the API that forces that same scanning?
Thanks.

Hi,
Looks like infrastructure rescan didn’t happen when u called the API. Can u check in the session log (via UI), if this already happened?

Two infrastructure scans appear in the session log, both with "Success" status.
If I query the regions through /api/v1/cloudInfrastructure/regions I do receive a list of all the regions but no zones in /api/v1/cloudInfrastructure/regions/{regionId}/zones

I believe u can get the zones loaded via /amazonConnections/{amazonConnectionId}/availabilityZones and from there on utilise them.

Yes I can.
It's a bit convoluted, as I need to add a new "amazon connection" but it works.
Thanks.

We will look into enhancing this in a future release to make it more clear on how to perform these tasks. Thanks for the feedback and if u have any other questions, please let us know!
