As we read on the section 'breaking changes' we saw that the number of API calls via the .token endpoint not from the localhost (read external API implemantations) is now limited to 1/s, 5/min, 1500/h
Is this configurable of will it become configurable. This has quite strong impact on performance with external integrations.

Re: API calls limited, configurable ?
Hello Kristof,
Indeed, this can be configured to your needs. Just chatting yesterday with a fellow Veeam Vanguard, he wrote this: Is this blog recommended? Not really, the throttle has been created to not hammer the RESTful/Restore Portal service, so when users access the portal, no potential performance issues might slow them down when performing restores. In fact, as you pointed, localhost, which is the Restore Portal, is not throttled.
I have built the Grafana Dashboards for pretty much all Veeam products, and I query the API quite a lot, but my Scripts tend to do one token every 5 minutes, and grab the required data.
Curious to know more about your actual integrations that require a new token more often than the recommended values. Please post it here, or send me a PM.
Thank you so much!

Re: API calls limited, configurable ?
Kristof,
Over the past years we have seen our service being hammered by a lot of API calls for external solutions. That's why we have those in place. Besides the portal, also the VB365 service can get seriously impacted. Is there a specific call that you need to faster than the thresholds? There is always a possibility to tweak certain calls depending on the needs and business case
