Back-up job taking long
After testing with just a few mailboxes I altered the job to do all the mailboxes we have in Office 365 for the moment.
I feel that the job is taking way longer then expected.
is their a configuration that i can change or is Microsoft capping the download speed ?
see picture for job stats.

Re: Back-up job taking long
Hi,
Yes, there will always be a limit that MSFT applies but I don't know exactly what that is. That said, having a slow connection can have many cases including network settings. One of the first things I would like to ask is whether you have installed our fix that is located (and explained) here: veeam-backup-for-microsoft-office-365-f ... ml#p213276
I believe there are already some engine improvements in that fix.
You can also find more information around the throttling on the O365 side here: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/librar ... .150).aspx. We are aware that the basic throttling rules can sometimes cause issues for the initial backup (normally after that, the incrementals should be fine). You can call MSFT support to change this throttling policy (but I am not sure if this comes with a price or not...)
Hope it helps
Mike

Re: Back-up job taking long
Hi,
i have installed the fix and not sure if the fix helps but the incremental backups are going a lot faster.
see image for job details.
I am glad that the job automaticly detects new mailboxes in the office 365 tenant
