Hi forum.
We have our Veeam Backup for Office 365 running with backup user as local admin on localhost.
Is there however a way to change the backup user from local admin to a user
with name and priviliges of our choosing after the system is installed?
I understand at as for now Veeam backup and restore jobs has to be runned with admin priviliges. But changing the name of the user would help.
Is it possible to change the name of the backup user afterwards? What about the underlying database for the backup repositories? Will the tables update with new user or is there some manual settings that needs to be done. Or maybe a fresh install and moving the repositories to a new server?
What can be the best way to change user afterwards, if it's possible?

Re: Change backup user from local admin to selfnamed account
Hi Vildar,
VB365 can only be launched with an account that is a member of the Local Administrator group on the host.
So technically, you can use a different account but it still must be a localhost admin.
