Exchange restore stuck 'Working' in B&R console
Hi all,
I have this weird issue where a mailbox restore to PST is working and completing successfully in Veeam backup for Microsoft 365, but is stuck as 'Working' in B&R.
This working-state is cleared when the server is restarted.
This image is taken today, the 31th.
Is this known and/or fixable?
Thanks!

Hi
Doesn‘t look like a vbo365 issue. This is the vbr console.
You must update your vbr server to V11a P20211123 to resolve this issue. The vbr console doesn‘t do an automatic refresh.
You can refresh it with F5.
It‘s discussed here.

Ahh thanks, I'm running 11.0.1.1261 (aka 11a), but not the patch.
I will install it.
Do note that F5 is/was not working in my case.

If F5 or the update doesn't work, please open a support case with Veeam.

Re: Exchange restore stuck 'Working' in B&R console
Well... That was kinda cringe on my end.
I did raise a support case with Veeam support.
The issue was a colleague of mine which kept the 365 recovery console open on his account.
When I viewed the B&R console for a status check I saw the recovery process as stuck, not realizing that a window was still open. Even after the 24-hour timeout on the job, it's still showing in the console as 'working', which seemed to be intended as the window was still open after a few days. When logging off his account from the task manager, the job eventually disappeared.

@e.rottier,
Thanks for letting us know. I will need to look into the further details (I do admit I won't give it a lot of priority though) but I think this is something we should check because there are always admins that leave consoles open (guilty as charged here ). Could you give me your support case # so I can review it?
