Our VBR works fine, and a preliminary trial of VBO4 to a VCSP looks good too.
But is there a way of bringing our internet proxy server into the path for Cloud Connect access to the VCSP's gateway?
It would save having to open port 6180 in our firewall for all machines (VBR server and Support-team PCs) that use Veeam Explorers to restore Office365 items.
Or would installing a VBO Remote Console on Support-team PCs work? Internet proxy settings can be configured there, I think. Do I need a licence for VBO Remote Console, if the VBO server is licensed at the VCSP's site?
TIA

Re: From Remote VBR Console to VCSP via proxy?
Hello,
no, it's not possible to route the cloud connect protocol via a HTTP/HTTPS proxy. It's a different protocol that is not compatible with HTTP/HTTPS
Best regards,
Hannes

Re: From Remote VBR Console to VCSP via proxy?
You just need to install the VBO console on those support team pc's so they can use the Veeam Explorer to connecto cloud connect. These happen via a secure connection directly so there is no need for a proxy.
