1) It is software which you can install anywhere you want. You can do it on-premises or within a (public) Cloud. It’s also available in the Azure and AWS marketplace.
2) Veeam doesn’t store any backups. It is fully up to you. This can be done via local storage or object storage.
Thanks for the swift reply. Can't say this is appealing to me! Other providers cover the storage costs etc. Is there any product comparison provided between veeam and their competitors?
PS: love Veeam generally just not maybe a fit for me in this solution.
Veeam doesn’t have this type of documents. You can deploy VBO within the public cloud and use object storage. It is an easy to use product and offers flexibility. Might be good to have a call with a local Veeam contact and explore all possibilities.
Another option is using one of our service providers who offer it as a service, this way you don’t have to worry about anything and most of them provide self-service capabilities.
