SharePoint Online Administrator Role
I am unable to setup my O365 Organization in Veeam O365 because the SharePoint Online Administrator role is not assigned to the account I will use. I have a case open with Veeam. I've read a few things that indicate this is a bug? I have unchecked SharePoint Server, but it still fails the role check. I've read a few Veeam forum articles and watched a few videos but still don't see the option to add that role to my account. I assume I have to add that role to a user by going into the SP section in the O365 admin center.

Re: SharePoint Online Administrator Role
Hi Jed,
That's correct, VBO requires adding a SharePoint Administrator role to the user account regardless of the Office 365 Plan used. You can assign it either in the Office 365 Admin Center, or using PowerShell as it's described in the documentation.
This is going to be fixed in the next product releases.
P.S. Please share your case ID here to help us follow up the investigation. Thanks!
