VBO offload to Azure blob storage which access tier is recommended
Since VBO backup is in the form of db file and I'm not really sure if the db need to be ready every time the backup run. So in this case, may I know if there's any recommendations for the Azure storage access tier? Is it fine for me to just go with usual way as VBR which is cold tier ?

Hi Markus, if you are using a Jet DB as the repository, in that case you need to run the repository (best) on the VM itself and it should have rather fast storage because it is a running database. If you are using an Object Storage Repository, then you can go with cold tier storage if you want

Perfect. Only downside that you might see is some slower backup/ restores, from a backup perspective especially with the initial backup (but all incremental afterwards probably not, unless you have high churn).
From a restore perspective, things might be a bit slower when you are going to restore large amounts of data (but we know that 99%+ of the restores are just a few files or mail items, and nothing more... )
