04274799. Time synch issue

Post by S@1lfish »

Hello,
We are continually having trouble keeping our replica Domain Controllers time synched. I can manually change to the correct time!, but it never sticks. Where can I go to make a manual entry on the DC's to point to a machine on the replica network that has correct time?

thanks !

Time shall be preserved and be the same as it was on production server. Check your target ESXi host time settings that might have populated into replca VMs via VMware Tools time sync?

Anyhow, You can run:

Code: Select all

w32tm /config /syncfromflags:manual /manualpeerlist:”DR-SITE-NTP-Server” /reliable:yes /update
on a replica machine or set respectful registry key:

Code: Select all

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\DateTime\Servers
via script.
/Cheers!
