Hi guys,
I regularly restore file server backups to the desktop on by Veeam B&R server before transferring the files to a place where the requesting user can access them.
Today, for the first time ever... I'm seeing "Access is denied" when trying to perform this regular task.
It does not display for every folder. Only some.
Could this be a signal of corruption within the backup files or should the message be taken at face value and means what it says? I've tried restoring to an alternative location and get the same error... and it will restore some files from the folder... not all of them.

Re: "Access is denied" during guest file restore
Looks like the anti-virus is the cause. It's detecting a virus in the files I'm attempting to restore.
