Backup Copy Job Fail
Dear all,
I have two backup job were finished successfully but backup copy job failed in this week, however, the error just said the job "Timeout" and "Job has failed unexpectedly" with no other supporting information.
Anyone has an idea on this problem?
Kind Regards,
Leo

Hello,
You may also check Windows Event Logs on the backup server as "Job has failed unexpectedly" error is usually thrown when the job manager process is terminated due to whatever reason.
Thanks!

Re: Backup Copy Job Fail
Dear all,
The support has reply the solution to me. He said it is a known issue in VBR 11 and the solution is "editing the affected backup copy jobs settings, run through the wizard and save them. After that, please check how everything works."
The solution is works fine.
Kind Regards,
Leo

Hello.

That is odd, but easy enough to do. Or does something specific have to be changed?
Thanks!

Editing them how? Just simply opening up the job, changing nothing, saving it again, and rerunning?support says it is a known issue in VBR 11 and the solution is "editing the affected backup copy jobs settings, run through the wizard and save them. After that, please check how everything works."

Yes, this is what you're supposed to do - just open the job wizard via the Edit command, run Next - Next - Next, and FInish.
