All,
I re-configured my backup copy jobs to use a different transport method. During this, I thought I linked it all together properly, but obviously I went wrong (I may have missed mapping the backup jobs?), and now I have two copies of my data.
1. Under disk (imported), I have the files under my old transport method. In /blah/backup_job_name
2. Under disk (copy), I have the files under my transport method. In /blah/backup_job_name_1
So my GFS schedule is working for the files under #2, but it doesn't take into affect the files under #1. The job themselves, and what VMs they are copying, hasn't changed. Due to having two copies now, I am using way more space than I need to, so I need to fix this to get the space back.
What I want to do, is to get the files from #1 back under #2. Can I just copy the files and do a re-scan? Or do I need to do some other tricks? Or is it event possible?
Thanks.

Re: Backup Copy - Merging Folders
Chains cannot be combined, so you would have to control the old chain retention manually.
