Hello friends.
I verified that when I select to perform a backup copy periodic I can choose some options (From infra ..., from backup and from jobs).
Usually I use (From Jobs) which is the same when we choose (Immediate copy).
However, a colleague commented that he used the option (from backup) instead of (from jobs) and realized that the space occupation was less than (from jobs).
Is there really any relevance?
Thanks.

Re: Backup Copy (Periodic copy) from backup
Hello,
that can happen if he does not copy every backup in periodic mode.
Example: he does backup every 4h, but the periodic backup copy job only runs every 24h.
Immediate copy mode copies every backup. Periodic copy can skip data that was overwritten.
Best regards,
Hannes

for most cases not. It could also be other configuration options (compression settings, per-VM chain vs. per-job chain etc...). With the same settings, the result is the same.Is there really any relevance?
Best regards,
Hannes
