Hi guys,
I have a Hyper V Core with VMs and they are being backuped by Veeam.
Now I would like to take one of the backups and test it in my home Lab.
I don't wanna set up an extra Hyper V core server for it, is it possible to include the Hyper V Manager directly as the Server running on a Windows 10 machine into Veeam?
So -> Windows10 with manager as the Server in Veeam and everything together with Veeam on localhost.
Somehow Veeam doesn't allow me to select the local windows machine?
Greetings!
Thank you

Re: Backup - using for Lab ?
Hi there Ziaga - Hyper-V on Windows 10 isn't supported as a hypervisor currently. While this is an old thread, the reasoning is explained well here by one of our Directors of Product Management, Mike Resseler: microsoft-hyper-v-f25/windows-8-hyper-v ... ml#p225599
