Backup Veeam database server

Hi, We have a question about Veeam configuration backup
We are using Veeam Backup & Replication v11.
We created few VMs for
- Veeam Backup & Replication Server
- Veeam Backup & Replication Database Server
- Some Veeam proxy Servers
- Veeam EM Server
- Veeam ONE Server
We need to backup all Veeam configuration and Veeam Database in case Veeam Backup & Replication Server or Veeam Backup & Replication Database Server fails for some reason.
We found that we could use configuration backup in Veeam as this link https://helpcenter.veeam.com/archive/ba ... onfig.html. We could see that it backup Veeam Backup & Replication Server configuration.
The question is "What about Veeam Backup & Replication Database? How to backup that database because it has been installed on another VM separate to Veeam Backup & Replication Server, or we just need configuration backup like above only?"

Hello Nguyen

For a complete restore of your backup servers entire configuration (proxies, repositories, jobs, general configuration, restore points in database, ...) the configuration backup will be enough.
If you write File to Tape jobs, information about the files on tapes won't be exported in V11a. In V12, we also export this information.
Using the configuration backup restore option is the recommended way to restore the entire backup server configuration to a new backup server.

Creating an additional backup of the dedicated database server is possible. It will run after the backup of all other workloads in the job has finished.
