Bare Metal Restore

Testing vbr and wondering about restore.

Environment: one esxi v5.1 host with multiple windows guests, and one physical backup server running vbr 7
Situation: If I lose a esxi 5.1 host computer and have only that one host, is this the basic process for restore?

1) repair/replace host hardware if necessary
2) install esxi 5.1 on host hardware from usb/dvd and create host login
3) restore vm from backup server

Do I need to create guests between 2&3 or does VBR set up guest with resources? I bet this is documented already...

Hi Matt, there's no need to pre-create anything on the host prior to restoring a VM with Veeam B&R. The whole process is limited to the bullet list above.
