Basic Question, Failover to a Particular Replica

Hi,

we are replicating all our VMs to second SAN. I have a basic question to make failover to a particular replica, tis something what i missing in the documentation.

When i start a failover, so the replica VM wil bestarted with a snapshot. I understand this option, because i have got the option the to failover to different versions of my VM.

But what when i found a working replica Version (for example we are working with 14 rollback point and want use the 8 wollback point) . This will be started with a snapshot.

- Can i delete this snapshot without any issue.
- whats about all the other VRB Files in this directory, how i can clean up this.

I'am missing all the steps in the docu after starting a failover.

Hello,

Yes, if you would like to continue using replicated VM as a primary VM, you may safely remove Veeam snapshot. As for VRB and other Veeam files, you can remove them as well.

i think you can add this Task to my WISH List for the next version.
Post-Task after a Failover to Replicas --> Cleanup the unneeded files ....
