Now, before I make a mistake that I can't fix because of the Immutable backup, I have a question:
I have a backup copy job running on an immutable repository.
During setup I had selected "From Backups" as Objects and everything works fine.
Problem is that new backed up VMs have to be added manually each time and I would rather change this job to "From Jobs" to add new VMs automatically.
Question:
If I remove the existing VMs under "Objects to process" and add only the backup jobs instead, does it recognize that they are the same backups and not transfer again completely?
I unfortunately don't have the storage space (50 TB) for a second backup, nor do I want the transfer time again.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Re: Change Objects in immutable Repo Backup Job
Hello Sheppard81
Yes, backups are recognized between both sources. The source machines have the same IDs.
Therefore a new active full copy is not required for already copied machines. The next run will be an incremental copy.
Best,
Fabian
