Cloud Connect

Post by Marcus »

Hi All,

Currently I am setting up onsite backups to NAS using backup and replication.
I am happy with all the internal backup recovery plan that I have.

My next step is to backup offsite.

My case is the following.

I have host server that runs 4 hyper v Virtual machines (Total size combines is 2.5 TB)
I will be looking into cloud connect or would this be to costly?
What is the best way to backup offsite and restore if needed ?

I have veeam server console setup on a desktop.
Will keep doing research.
Thanks
Mark :P

Backup copy jobs pointed to cloud repository sound like a way to go. By the way, our Service Provider lookup might help you with finding appropriate Service Provider. Thanks.

Cloud connect shouldn't be needed. Do you already have a seconday site you want to replicate to? If yes, whats your connectivity between the sites like?
