Can someone point me to documentation or discussions about how copy jobs work with continuous backups? For example, how does it handle keeping the restore points? What about GFS rotations? Just trying to get an idea on this as I didn't see anything in the manual detailing how they work together.
Thanks!

Re: Continuous backups and copy jobs?
Hi Brian,
Backup job has a priority over the backup copy job. So if a backup job tries to access backup storage (restore points), while backup copy job is running, Veeam backup server will stop the backup copy job and let backup job create VM restore points. However, with forward incremental backup mode only latest restore point file should be locked and backup copy job should not be stopped.
Thanks!

Not sure I fully understand these questions. These settings are for backup copy job and it doesn't matter how your source backup job is scheduled.brianlees wrote:For example, how does it handle keeping the restore points? What about GFS rotations?
