DB Connection Application Name
My Veeam 6.1 installation is operating in a secure environment with very detailed auditing enabled. I was informed by my DBA that when Veeam establishes a connection to the MS SQL server, that it shows up with a generic application name (.NET SqlClient Data Provider). Is there a way to change this behavior to where the application name shows up with a more descriptive name when connecting to MS SQL (a registry change, config file, etc)?

Re: DB Connection Application Name
Not sure there is a way to change this generic name. Will double-check it with the dev team and if it is possible to change it I will update this topic. Anyway, thanks for the feedback.
