Hi,
Today i had to cancel the backup because it was interfering the tape backup. Because of this, i now have one large VBK file and one large VRB file.
I guess when deleting this last VRB file my backup is left inconcistent?
Regards,
Joris

Re: Deleting VRB files
Hello Joris,
Yes, if you delete the most recent VRB file, your backup will be left in inconsistent state, because while job runs all the changes are inserted to VBK file due to synthetic way of backup, and when you stop the job/job fails, VBK is left inconsistent and you can only restore using VRB files, however on the next job run VBK file should be repaired.
Thank you!
