Morning All
I have a dedicated Windows server with B&R installed, hyper-v VM's are backed up to local disk on the B&R server and then copy jobs push it elsewhere.
Can any sort of SSD cache be used to speed this up? The disks in the B&R server are slower than the Hyper-V Cluster storage so I was wondering if there is a way to use SSD storage on the B&R server (for example a 1-2Tb PCI SSD M.2 drive) to copy the backup files to, then immediately move them across to the slower internal storage.
B&R server has dedicated 10Gb network to the Hyper-V Cluster nodes.
Just spit-balling ideas here.

Re: Disk cache to speed up backup
You can:
- Create backup jobs
- Set short retention for them
- Point them to SSD repository
- Create backup copy jobs
- Set longer retention for them
- Point them to slower internal storage
Thanks!
