On our Veeam server when we decommision a virtual machine we eventually disable the backup job and then Delete it, which automatically places the backups from the job in Disk (Imported) which is fine.
However I would then like to back up these to a tape for archiving in case anyone requests something from them in the future, I can create a Files to tape job but I would like to create a subdirectory on our Veeam disk repository called 'decommisionedvms' or similar then have all the backup files go to there and then I could set the job to backup that entire folder.
But when I look at the backup properties for an object in Disk (Imported) they are still located in the main backup repository folder e.g. \Backups and the field is greyed out so I can't manually move and update myself, how can I achieve this?

Re: Disk (Imported) - move to another folder
Hi,
Veeam doesn't update that information before you rescan the repository.
So manually move them with file explorer to the folder you want then rescan the repo.
You can find how to rescan here: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... l?ver=95u4
