Do backup copy jobs use proxies?
I am wondering if there is a way to limit bandwidth usage for backup copy jobs. I do not see any proxy settings under the backup copy job settings. Is there a way to limit bandwidth?

Re: Do backup copy jobs use proxies?
Backup copy jobs occur from repository to repository. You can set maximum ingestion rates in the repository settings; in v8 this setting will also limit I/O from source repositories in backup copy jobs. If you're concerned about network bandwidth and not storage I/O, the network throttling settings (accessible from the main menu) apply to any traffic between data movers, whether that's proxy to proxy, proxy to repository, or repository to repository.
Note that if using CIFS/SMB shares the data mover runs on a gateway server (called "proxying servers" in v7), which can be specified in the repository settings.
