DR replication/restore VM SAN to NAS

Post by teqmod »

We currently have an ESX cluster using SAN storage and are using the VEEAM backup solution. We have another site where we are in the process of implementing a VM solution however this site will be using an existing NAS for storage. One of the goals for the second site config is if something in the current site fails it could be replicated in the new site and vice versa. Do you see any issues with this since the only difference would be SAN and NAS shared storage?

No issues. In the end, this is what virtualization is all about ;) I mean hardware-agnostic computing resources!
