Email notifications - general settings

Hi all,

in BR11 if I enable email notification on a job I get the message "Enable e-mail notifications in Menu > General Option". So far so good.
I go to General Options and enable e-mail notifications, set server, from and to address and the daily summary time.

I have 8 backup jobs. 7 of them are running on a daily basis so it is desired to have one email a day. One of the jobs is an hourly SQL transaction log backup task. Here under Storage > Advanced > Notifications I do not have enabled to send e-mail notifications but I get an e-mail every hour the job finished.

Where is the fault?

If it's not set on the job it uses the global settings, that why you are getting the emails.

You will need to enable it on the job, and then don't use the: "Use Global notifications settings"

I recommend you just disable Success so that you will get an email of warnings on emails.
