Enterprise Manager

Post by lobo519 »

I have not submitted a support request as I am not sure there is an issue but my observation.

I upgraded to v6 today and setup a new replication job. while that was running I was playing with enterprise manager which is install on the same server as veeam backup. during this time I noticed my replication job stopped dead in its tracks. after about 30 minutes I decided to stop the enterprise manager service as maybe that was holding up the job. sure enough the replica jobs started processing again right after.

Has Anyone else seen this before? I have not tried to recreate it yet as I need these replica jobs to run but I will play more. just wanted to get the possible issue out to the community.

Thanks!

This is definitely the first time I hear about this issue, as Enterprise Manager shouldn't affect any jobs at all. Maybe this is just a coincidence? What would really shed the light on this weird behavior is a corresponding job log for this replication job, worth investigating...
