I've built a Ubuntu 9.10 Server VM, loaded VMtools, but I get the following error when trying to back it up:
Creating snapshot CreateSnapshot failed, vmRef "1120", timeout "1800000", snName "VEEAM BACKUP TEMPORARY SNAPSHOT", snDescription "Please do not delete this snapshot. It is being used by Veeam Backup.", memory "False", quiesce "True" Creating a quiesced snapshot failed because the (user-supplied) custom pre-freeze script in the virtual machine exited with a non-zero return code.
If I turn quiesing off, the backup runs.
If possible, I would like to include this VM in my main backup run which includes other Windows and Linux VMs.
What am I doing wrong?
Rich
