Folks,
For the first time in history I have used the option to exclude a folder from a VM in a backup job, and I am just wondering about the log entries seen in the console:
2021-04-30 03:49:33 :: Hard disk 1: excluding files
2021-04-30 03:49:41 :: Hard disk 1 (80 GB) 2,8 GB read at 92 MB/s [CBT]
2021-04-30 03:49:53 :: Hard disk 2: excluding files
2021-04-30 03:50:13 :: Hard disk 2 (3,1 TB) 20,6 GB read at 188 MB/s [CBT]
2021-04-30 03:50:14 :: Hard disk 3: 3 files with total size of 1,4 TB excluded at 3 files per second
2021-04-30 03:50:27 :: Hard disk 3 (1,5 TB) 103 MB read at 103 MB/s [CBT]
I have excluded a folder on hard disk 3 only, so why is it saying "Hard disk 1: excluding files" and "Hard disk 2: excluding files"?
Is that just an overall effect from using the exclude feature? It is not actually trying to exclude files on disk 1 and 2, is it?
Sincerely,
PJ

Re: Excluding folder in backup job
Hello,
correct. It just tells you that it is aware that files might need to be excluded. For disk 3 it says that the software actually did the exclusion.
Best regards,
Hannes
