Feature Request: We often have the problem that "jobs" fails fore some reasons, but jobs don't fail but the get stucked and running forever.
Veeam has the possibility to set a maintanance windows in the Veeam job, but not the possibility to fail the job when running longer as X hours....
So please, could you add a feature to fail jobs running longer than x hours/days??
Using maintanance windows is not always possible, because we have big data snapvaulting with veeam netapp integration to a backupdatastore. Snapvault runs in a few hours in the night, but backup from the same data to repository from backupstorage as a data source and to tape takes several days. And now a job got stucked on one VM and running for days without anybody noticing, because no error is retrieved.
.....So please add "fail job when running longer as xy."
Thx!

Hi,
Please check this solution (Terminate job after X hours) and let me know if that works for you.
Thanks

Thanks! This is an option, but sadly it kills Veeams simplicity by using another software and powerShell...... Still would like this feature in Veeam B&R, maybe in the same GUI windows where you can define the Backup window.

That makes sense, but let`s wait for more feedback to see how critical the issue is. Thanks!plandata_at wrote:Thanks!
