Failed to invoke func [GetFileFromGADir]

Post by CTCarp »

Hello
This is new to us this week. Nothing has changed on our Windows based network. Getting error:

Code: Select all

Processing ServerName Error: Failed to call RPC function 'Vss.GetFileFromGADir': Error code: 0x80070070. Failed to invoke func [GetFileFromGADir]: There is not enough space on the disk.. Cannot copy file. Source file: [\\servername\ADMIN$\VeeamVssSupport\metadata\VSS\BackupComponents.xml]. Target file: [C:\Windows\{ac4a74c2-10c5-451c-995b-48f31e3b85a6}\BackupComponents.xml]. CopyFile() failed. Win32 error:There is not enough space on the disk. Code: 112.
There are gigs of space on these 15 machines that failed.
Veeam 9.5 U4 - we have legacy machines that we are slowly removing before upgrading.

How do I resolve this error.
Thanks

Hello,

Please share a support case ID as requested when you create a new topic about technical issue. The topics without support case ID will be eventually deleted by moderator as we cannot troubleshoot technical problems over the forum posts.

The only suggestion now is to check space on the backup server as well, I guess it cannot copy xml from guest VM to the backup server.

Thanks!
