failover plan not starting VM's automatically

Post by dirkdigs »

i created a failover plan. i started the failover plan the status of the job is showing as "Failover"

However I noticed a few things
1 - the vm did not auto start
2 - the source vm did not power off
3 - the vmware network (port group) on the Dr side did not map correctly.
4- also the server did not re IP successfully

What did i do wrong?

Hello,
1, 3 & 4: That sounds like a technical issue. Please provide a support case ID for this issue, as requested when you click New Topic. Without case number, the topic will eventually be deleted by moderators.

2: That's correct correct. Only planned failover powers off the source VM

Thank you,
Hannes
