Would love to see an option added to the storage health checks (Storage > Advanced > Maintenance > Storage-level corruption guard) to have it take priority over new instances of the backup.
To me it makes more sense to validate the health of your chain before you add another link to it. If the health validation gets interrupted by a new backup instance, that cannot happen. But I can also see a lot of people saying "it'll probably be fine, better to ensure RPOs are met".

Re: Feature Request - Health Check Priority
Hello,
yes, makes sense and we are looking into that. You are not the first one with that idea and we count your request +1
Best regards,
Hannes

Re: Feature Request - Health Check Priority
Hello,
in 12.1, the BackupHealthCheckPreventInterruption = 1 key (REG_DWORD) in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Veeam\Veeam Backup and Replication\ on the backup server should solve the request.
Best regards,
Hannes
